The US Department of Defense has launched Project Meridian, a plan to study future battlefields, identify required weapons and technologies, and propose actionable solutions. It is led by Elon Musk, Palmer Luckey, and Newt Gingrich, none of whom have served in the US military; however, Musk's SpaceXAI and Luckey's Anduril hold Pentagon contracts worth up to $4.16 billion.
